1. Empower students to shape their Redbird experience

  • Integrate data to sequence communication and experiences for maximum engagement.
  • Embed objectives for student growth into programs and services.
  • Evaluate programs and services for their impact on learning and retention.
  • Create and incorporate intentional engagement pathways into student life.
  • Leverage partnerships with alumni, the Bloomington-Normal community, and employers to help students ​acquire professional skills and gain meaningful experiences.

2. Strengthen community, well-being, and safety

  • Enhance systems and the environment to improve and sustain well-being, recognizing the impact of ​physical, social, emotional, and cultural factors.
  • Strengthen coordination across campus to solidify care and safety infrastructures.
